Preliminary Article – About Global’ :

You enter into a contract with us when you confirm your acceptance of these Terms or otherwise use the Platform. We therefore encourage you to read these Terms in their entirety. They are deemed read and accepted by all registered members of the Global’ network.
Preliminary Article – bis – Definitions : 

– Platform: Refers to the website, mobile application, and any other service provided by Global’.
– Content: Refers to any text, image, video, link, or other material posted by a user.
– User: Any natural or legal person with a registered account on the platform.

Article 1 – About Global’ : 

Global’ is a social network open to all users aged 13 and above. It allows users to post content, exchange messages, create groups, and interact with others, with the goal of earning reputation points. Access to and use of the platform are subject to full and complete acceptance of these Terms of Use.

Article 2 – Registration and Access to the Service : 

The user must be at least 13 years old at the time of registration. Registration requires providing a valid email address, a password, and a username. The user agrees to provide accurate information. If the user is under 18, their legal guardian(s) must provide consent.

Article 3 – Code of Conduct : 

The user agrees to:
– Not post any illegal, violent, hateful, or pornographic content;
– Not harass or take part in any form of cyberbullying;
– Respect copyrights and the privacy of others;
– Report any inappropriate content.
Global’ reserves the right to suspend or delete any account that does not comply with these rules.

Article 4 – Intellectual Property : 

Users retain ownership of the content they publish. However, the user grants Global’ a free, worldwide, non-exclusive license, valid for the legal duration of protection, allowing Global’ to use, reproduce, display, adapt, and distribute such content as part of the platform’s operation and promotion. The name, logo, and interface of Global’ are the exclusive property of its creators.

Article 5 – Advertising and In-App Purchases : 

Global’ may display advertisements on the platform. Paid services or content may be offered. Payment terms will be detailed in specific associated conditions.

Article 6 – Account Suspension/Deletion :

Any breach of these Terms of Use may result in suspension or deletion of the user’s account, with or without prior notice.

Article 7 – Liability :

Global’ cannot be held responsible for any statements or content posted by users. Global’ undertakes to moderate any reported content within a reasonable timeframe.

Article 8 – Personal Data : 

Rules regarding the processing of personal data are detailed in our Privacy Policy. Personal data is hosted in Switzerland by the hosting provider “Infomaniak”:

Global’ implements technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of your data.

Article 9 – Changes to the Terms of Use :

Global’ reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Users will be informed of any changes by appropriate means. Continued use of the platform after the changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Article 10 – Termination by the User :

The user may delete their account at any time via their profile settings. Account termination results in the deletion of associated data, unless legal obligations require retention.
